Western Heritage Day on Sunday 7/17/2016

Are you headed out to the El Paso County Fair looking for fun? Be sure to attend Western Heritage Day on Sunday, the 17th.  Sponsored by Ed Glaser Propane, Inc., exciting activities are packed in for the young, the seniors—for everyone.  Come on over to the Big R Tent for a scrumptious Texas Roadhouse BBQ at 1:00 PM, and stay for the Flying W Wranglers’ concert at 2:00.

El Paso County Fair-goers have celebrated together the triumphs and traditions of life in the West for over one hundred years.  The first fair was in 1905, a Thanksgiving festival held in the Calhan school yard by local farmers celebrating a bountiful harvest with horse races, other entertainment, and a meal together.  Today, fair attendees enjoy great entertainment, good food, 4-H and other exhibits, racing, rodeo, live music, livestock, carnival rides—all kinds of exciting activities for all ages.

The El Paso County Fair demonstrates our western roots and celebrates our history, culture, and heritage, and especially on Western Heritage Day.  Don’t miss the Texas Roadhouse BBQ, and the world-famous Flying W Wranglers, members of the Western Music Association Hall of Fame.  The family at Ed Glaser Propane, Inc. have been sponsoring events at the El Paso County Fair for over 50 years, so bring your family and take all this in free with admission to the fair. Come see the Timeless Traditions at the 111th El Paso County Fair!
